Being one of the worlds largest international airlines in India, Aeroflot enjoys a modern fleet of aircraft including the Airbus A330-200, A321, A320, A319 and the Boeing B767-300NER. This fleet is set to increase with the arrival of 24 new Boeing planes throughout 2009, and further right through until 2016.
As this program of lowering the average age of the fleet by replacing older aircraft continues, they are also increasing capacity and reducing pollution levels and raising levels of comfort for their customers.
Consistently improving in performance, safety and levels of service, Aeroflot enjoys safety levels well within the IOSA (International Operational Safety Audit Registry) guidelines, achieving an index in excess of 99%.
As demand grows, they are currently nearing the end of a major 3rd terminal development. With its own stand alone terminal at Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow they aim to best provide services for 12 million passengers annually.
It is this investment in the company, alongside other plans for commercial and passenger growth that underpins the direction they are taking in the future.
Providing services direct from Delhi to Moscow, and from there across Europe the USA and beyond, Aeroflot enjoys membership of the SkyTeam network allowing passengers added convenience, destinations and comfort to complete their journey's as stress free as possible.
With around 50 countries and at least one city in each of these destinations served the coverage of the airline is impressive. Targeting frequent fliers and business travelers, the international airline in India present an excellent incentive scheme where you can start earning miles to spend as you wish on any of their routes and with many of their partners.
Silver membership can be achieved by flying 25000 miles in anyone year, whilst Gold level starts at 50000 in the same period. As with all air operators there has been clear focus on how to reduce damage to the environment and reduce pollution and noise from aircraft.
To this end Aeroflot have recently announced, in partnership with Sheremetyevo Airport, their Joint Energy Saving Program for 2009 – 2011. maintaining their position at the forefront of environmental concerns this program aims to improve energy consumption and improve technologies to better perform in all areas of operations.
