Tourist Map of Assam

The state of Assam is situated in the Northeastern part of India and is the largest state in the area. It is one of the most stunning regions of India.

Other than the rare wildlife treasures, it is in this state that some of the world's largest rivers are found. The mighty Brahmaputra and its tributaries flow through the state offering a wide network of rivers for different water sports.

The North-Eastern state Assam is well known for various great reasons that include historical, cultural, natural products like tea, petroleum, etc. To visit Assam never fail to see or follow the tourist map of Assam for it clearly point out the attractive tourist destinations.

The largest river Island Majuli is located in Jorhat, Assam. The mighty river Brahmaputra is the silent spectator of the historical and modern towns and villages which are situated on the banks of the river.
