Ajmer is a sacred pilgrim for all community in India
Due to the Dargah Sharif-tomb of the Sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin
Chisti. Ajmer is located south west of Jaipur (the capital city
of Rajasthan state in India) and is an oasis wrapped in the green
hills. The Ajmer is famous for Dargah Sharif, which is equally revered
by the Hindus and Muslims. The city is also famous for its culture
and education institute (prestigious Mayo College). The famous Puskar
is only 14 kilometers from the Ajmer and this small town is an abode
of Lord Brahma, which is situated at the bank of picturesque lake.
Ajmer is very well connected to the other parts of country through
buses and train services. The nearest airport is Jaipur and Delhi.
The city bus terminal is situated near the RTDC hotel Khadim and
railway station is located further north of the town. Ajmer offers
good quality hotels for stay but not luxury category hotels.
