This was the city which was center of power between
1571 and 1584 during era of Mughal Emperor Akbar. The great Akber
run his Empire from the Fatehpur-Sikri for 12 year. The old historical
city is a real example of architectural grandeur which was mostly
constructed by the red-sand marbles. There are many wonderful monuments

in Fatehpur- Sikri. The old city is very well connected to the national
capital New Delhi and Taj city Agra through train and road transport.
Best time to visit Fatehpur- Sikri is winter season between October
and March.
