The hotly city Vrindavan is situated on the bank of Yamuna at Mathura district in state of Uttar Pradesh around 151 kilometers from the New Delhi, India. It is to believe that Vrindavan is a place where Lord Krishna spent his childhood. There are various temples and some are like Pagal Baba Temple has eleven stories building is a beautiful piece of modern architecture. Bankey Bihari Temple, the most important and vibrant temple and it houses a sacred image of Thakkur Ji (Lord Krishna). Another popular temple is Govind Dev Temple, was built by the Raja Man Singh in 1590. The Rangaji Temple was built in 1851 is a wonderful example of architecture. ISKCON is one of the most impassive temples in the town. Vrindavan is well connected to the other parts of the country through train and road services. The best time to visit Vrindavan is winter season between October and March. |
