An example of this is the Sekrenyi festival, belonging to the Angami tribe, which signifies the end of the agricultural cycle and lasts for 10 days. Another is the Konyak Aoling festival which denotes the coming of the New Year.
This is celebrated in the month of April. There are also festivals like the Ao Moatsu festival and the other non-traditional festivals of May and October that draw good crowds.
