Trip to Rajasthan can itself be called adventurous. The varied  topography of Rajasthan will surely offer you great adventurous sports, in fact we can say that adventure is a part their lives. During the span of Maharaja's some sports are famous as they were also very much fond of the adventure sports and they are still enjoyed by today's generation.

Ballooning
it will surely be exciting, one can easily travel short distances, one thing is for sure that your short trip will be very calm. You can simply enjoy sand dunes and other fairs like Pushkar fair.

Para sailing
Para sailing is surely a sport which can give you great experience. But it is not so cheap as it require some machinery which makes it a bit expensive. This activity can add more fun to your trip. Some of the operators also offer it on sand dunes. One can also experience gliding but it needs prior approval from the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
For gliding one requires runways and strips, Jaipur and Jaisalmer is well equipped with it.

Water is a problem in Rajasthan but to boost their tourism you can find many natural as well as some man made lakes in Rajasthan. Tourists go to the Siliserh Lake ad also at the Udaipur lake for boating. You can also enjoy fishing and fishing rods are also available on rent, if you want to use god quality of rod then it is advisable to bring yours. Don't forget to visit Bikaner palace which is located on the lake and it also has great opportunity for angling.

The Car rallies
The Maharajas of Rajasthan were very fond of cars and they were the one who made roads to travel the villages. You can witness too many vintage cars almost eighty years back and the amazing fact is that these cars are still maintained in the running conditions. Adventure sports in Rajasthan Camel Fair in Rajasthan

There are many sports that were enjoyed by the erstwhile Maharajas of Rajasthan and the newer sports that are enjoyed by the present generation as well. 

 

The Pushkar Camel fair is held in November each year. Its one of the biggest fairs in which cattle, horses and camels are sold, decorated and raced.
