Sualkuchi
Sualkuchi in Assam is one of the largest weaving villages in whole
world which produces three exclusive varieties of silks which are
white pat, warm Eri and golden Muga. It is known as the Manchester
of the East. You will find here all people engaged in weaving superb silk fabrics. Even the unique fact about this place is that the Golden Muga silk of Assam is not produced in whole world except Assam.
