Delhi: The Capital of India

One of the oldest cities in the world, Delhi has a 5000-year-old historical legacy and a vibrant and progressive present. Sprawled towards the west bank of Yamuna, it is bordered by Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. This metropolis has always remained foremost in diplomatic and political arena, even when it was not the capital city.

It is created out of seven ancient cities that still live in the culture, tradition and architectural remains of the region.
