Previously Jharkhand was a part of Bihar. On 15th of Nov. 2000 it has become a separate state. The place is a biggest tourist attraction. A lot of tourists from different parts of the world visit this place every year.

This state has huge mines and minerals, abundant forest resources, several attractive tourist spots, a number of prestigious educational institutions and some big industries based on fertilizer and steel. Jharkhand is also known as “land of woods”.
