Aizal
Aizal, the capital city of Mizoram, is the biggest city of the state. It is the main cultural and religious hub of Mizoram. 77% people of the city are Christian.
The beautiful churches located on the mountains which add beauty to the city. Literally Aizal means “The home of the people of the mountain”.
The cultural properties of Aizal will thrill the tourists. The airport of Mizoram is located in Aizal. The Thlawng river flows near the city and the landscapes of Durtlang hills add beauty to the entire city.

Lunglei
Lunglei, located at a distance of 235 kms away from Aizal, is one of the busiest cities of the state. Saikuti Hall, a cultural centre of the state, is located in Lunglei. Music concerts and various other functions are held in this hall.
The centre has a museum in which sometimes painters exhibit their art and sculptures. Lunglei is well-linked with the main places of the state by state ways. The green forests and rivers located near the city are home to various flora and fauna. |
Champhai
The birthplace of the history and culture of the Mizo tribes, the fastest developing commercial hub of the state, Champhai is located at Champhai valley. Gateway of the Indo-Myanmar, Champhai town is located at a distance of 192 kms away from the capital city, Aizal. The folklores and myths of the Mizo tribes are related to the various relics and monuments.
One can enjoy the panoramic view of the amazing hills of Myanmar from this city. The main tourist attractions of the city are Kungawrhi cave, Tiau River, Rih Dil Lake and memorial stone Manghaia Lung. Besides these three cities, Mizoram has little towns.
