How to reach Mizoram by air? The domestic airport Lengpui is situated in Aizal, the capital city of the state. It provides air service to Guwahati, the capital city of Assam and Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal.
One can take a flight from Delhi or other metro cities of India to Guwahati to visit Mizoram as the Guwahati Airport serves service to Mizoram. One can also visit Mizoram from Kolkata via Silchar airport of Assam. Traffic snarl is not seen in the airport. How to reach Mizoram by roads?
Most of the roads of Mizoram built by the British are survived till now. National highway 50, NH-150, 40, connect Mizoram to the other states of north-east.
National Highway 150 links the state to the capital of Manipur, Imphal and NH-40 links Mizoram with Tripura. Silchar, a city of Assam, which is called the gateway to Manipur and Mizoram, is well-linked with Mizoram by the national highway 54.
