Vishwanath temple in Varanasi

Vishwanath temple is located in Varanasi. It was built by Rani Ahilyabai. Here you can get manifestation of Lord Shiva in the form of lingam.

There are 12 Jyotrilingams situated at various cities in India and it is one of them. You can visit this temple from 5:30 AM to 12 in the noon and again from 4 PM to 11 PM at night.

This temple has very special and exclusive importance in the spiritual history of India. It is written in epics that by manifestation of Vishweshwara Jyotirlinga people attain spiritual knowledge and bhakti.

Madan Mohan Temple in Vrindavana

Madan Mohan temple is situated in Vrindavana. It was built by Srila Sanatana Gosvami and when this temple was built then there were altogether forests. It was the first temple to be established in Vrindavana. However, the unique idol of Lord Madana-mohana was transferred to Karauli in Rajasthan during the invasion of Aurangzeb in Vrindavana from safety purpose. It is one of the renowned temples in India.

Dwarkadhish Temple in Mathura

Dwarkadhish Temple is located in eastern part of Mathura city, Uttar Pradesh. It was built in the year 1814 and the holy followers of Vallabhacharya sect look after this temple. Grand architecture style of this temple is the center of attraction for visitors. The interior of temple and excellent work of art attract many visitors every year. Idols of Lord Krishna and his beloved Radha are established with other Hindu deities in Dwarkadhish Temple.

 Buddhist temple in Sarnath

Situated in Sarnath, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar is a Buddhist temple integrated with superb architectural design and interior patterns. Murals and Frescoes are the major attractions of this temple. Entrance door of this temple is equipped with a huge bronze bell. The key feature of Buddhist temple is golden image of Lord Buddha. Here is also Bodhi tree brought from Sri Lanka many years ago.
