Uttaranchal is known as “Dev Bhoomi”, as the holy Ganga and Yamuna rivers originate from Uttaranchal. The state was separated from Uttar Pradesh in November’2000. It was referred as Uttarakhand in scriptures and old literatures.

Haridwar- “The Gateway to Heaven” it is considered as one of the holiest city of India. In Haridwar river Ganges reaches plains. It is town of temples, ghats and ashrams. Nanital: - Another popular hill station known as “City of Lakes”. The most important is Naini Lake surrounded by hills. The weather in Nanital is excellent. The local market is very big and good.
